It’s only natural that a neighborhood as youthful as Tribeca features some of the best brunch spots in all of NYC. Read on for our fave Tribeca brunch picks—careful not to drool all over your keyboard though.

Bubby’s Tribeca

A stellar brunch menu featuring dishes like Blueberry Sourdough Pancakes and Jalapeno Scramble Biscuit Sandwich isn’t the only reason Bubby’s Tribeca is a must-try. Their cocktails are some of the best in the city, including the Dark & Stormy (Goslings Black Strap rum, lime, Fever Tree ginger beer) and Bubby’s Vodka Punch (vodka, homemade blend of juices topped with sparkling water). A friendly staff to boot makes Bubby’s one of the most popular brunch spots in Tribeca. They don’t take reservations for brunch, however, so get there early to avoid the inevitable 11 a.m. foot traffic.

Locanda Verde

It’s worth brunching at Locanda Verde for much more than the (slim) hope of running into Robert De Niro, a fixture of the Tribeca food scene and one of the partners at LV. Even without its celebrity cachet, LV is an amazing Italian restaurant with a fully refurbished dining room, wine shelves, cobblestone fireplace, and beautiful exposed brick. For brunch, try the Zucchini Frittata (roasted tomato, onion, goat cheese, basil) or Hazelnut-Crusted French Toast with citrus and mint. Top off your food buzz with a Bloody Mary de la Casa.

The Odeon

The Odeon’s strength is in its simplicity. It’s tasty brunch with classic choices of Eggs Benedict, Omelette, and a host of delectable entrees, including Avocado Toast, NY Strip Steak Frites, and Classic Smoked Salmon Plate. The atmosphere is attitude-free with heavy NY diner influence.

Distilled

Distilled features a tasty menu with huge portions and creative cocktails. They offer free popcorn for the table, but careful not to fill up; you'll certainly want to make room for their delectable brunch dishes. For shared plates, go with the Distilled Wings. For your own order, the Country Fried Duck & Waffle is to die for. In terms of ambiance, Distilled offers a spacious dining room with simple, classic decor.

A Permanent Seat at the Table

Between bars, brunch, and a growing list of high-profile restaurants, Tribeca is fast becoming a foodie’s paradise.
